I must admit that The Poisonwood Bible was my choice, so of course I love it. I chose this book because I had read it years ago and still thought about it. That is the mark of a well written book. I was excited to read it again and to share it with our book club.
This book taught me a great deal about Africa and it's political struggles as well as the physical ones. It made me even more grateful for the fact that I'm living here in the United States.
Not only did I learn a lot while reading this book, I loved the unique way it was written. Each chapter is told by a different female character in the story.
